I feel like it’s been forever since I last visited the coast — even if forever is just a few weeks. I was getting the salty air fever too, so I hopped in the car and headed to the coast. I took Coleman Valley Road, which takes a bit longer but is more scenic. I love this drive because as soon as you come over the pass, you overlook the entire Sonoma coastline.

The fresh air was still with hints of chimney smoke, which caused an almost touchable atmospheric haze.
