Foggy Morning at the Flooded Laguna

As a little background, Sonoma County (and all of Northern California for that matter) has been getting blasted with epic rain storms lately. I mean, yay no more drought! but jeeze, we Californians aren’t built for this kind of weather. All of this new-found rain has caused severe flooding all over the county — specifically, at the Laguna de Santa Rosa near Sebastopol.

This past weekend we finally had a break from the rain and in its place, mother nature brought in some HEAVY fog. I mean, like Marty McFly, heavy.

I made it to the laguna before the sun had a chance to come out and scouted the area for the best shot. Unfortunately, most of the fog didn’t burn off at all but it did make for some epic shots. Below are a few of my favorites from the morning.
