Oh New York, you had me at hello. I’d only been to The Big Apple twice before — once with my Dad and once, last year, for a work trip. This time was unique because I was able to go on my own and had no agenda whatsoever.
I’ve done a ton of touristy stuff in NY before, so I wanted to try to see a different part of the city, or a familiar part of the city in a new way. I definitely wanted to check out Brooklyn and Grand Central Station. Although, I do always find myself exploring Times Square and the Rockefeller Center just because I’m so drawn to the freak show energy it exudes.
Grand Central Station
This place was magical. It was even bigger and grander than I could have ever imagined. I was there around midnight and it was still buzzing. I could only speculate on what it would be like in there during rush hour. I was able to walk around slowly, taking my time with the space and absorbing the energy. I was only there for an hour or so but I could’ve sat there and taken photos all night long.
